REACTION OF 1-(4-ACETYLPHENYL)- AND 1-(4-FORMYLPHENYL)-2,2-DICHLOROCYCLOPROPANES WITH SODIUM ALCOHOLATES

1-(4-Acetylphenyl)- and 1-(4-formylphenyl)-2,2-dichlorocyclopropanes were obtained by the acetylation and formylation respectively of 1-phenyl-2,2-dichlorocyclopropane.The synthesized compounds were investigated in the substitution of halogen atoms by the action of sodium alcoholates in primary alcohols.
