Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 74307-75-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,4,3,0 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 74307-75:
(7*7)+(6*4)+(5*3)+(4*0)+(3*7)+(2*7)+(1*5)=128
128 % 10 = 8
So 74307-75-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Expedient synthesis of cis- and trans-3-aminocyclobutanecarboxylic acids
Radchenko, Dmytro S.,Tkachenko, Anton,Grygorenko, Oleksandr O.,Komarov, Igor V.
, p. 1644 - 1649 (2011/06/23)
An expedient approach to cis- and trans-3-aminocyclobutanecarboxylic acids was developed starting from 1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylic acid. Stereochemistry of the title compounds was established by nuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy experiments.
