Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 766-06-3 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 7,6 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 766-06:
(5*7)+(4*6)+(3*6)+(2*0)+(1*6)=83
83 % 10 = 3
So 766-06-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Contributions to the Chemistry of Silicon and Germanium, XXXVIII Systematic Investigations on the Reaction of Higher Silanes with Potassium Silyl

Feher, Franz,Krancher, Michael

, p. 1010 - 1014 (2007/10/02)

Potassium disilanyl, KSi2H5, 2-potassium trisilanyl, KSiH(SiH3)2, and 2-potassium isotetrasilanyl, KSi(SiH3)3, are formed in the reactions of the potassium silyl, KSiH3, with di-, tri-, n-tetra-, iso-tetra-, and pentasilane, respectively. The simultaneous formation of potassium hydride can be almost completely avoided by carrying out the reactions in very diluted solution. The product mixtures formed have been analyzed by gas chromatography after reaction with benzylchloride, potassium hydride then giving toluene.A mechanism for the stepwise formation of the various higher potassium silanyls is discussed. - Key words: Higher Potassium Silanyls, Potassium Silyl, Potassium Hydride, Benzylchloride

SUBSTITUENT EFFECTS OF SOME ORGANOSILYLMETHYL GROUPS

, p. 147 - 154 (2007/10/02)

The charge transfer frequencies for some tetracyanoethylene-PhX complexes have been used to derive ?+p constants and 13C NMR data to derive ?0R constants for the X groups, with the following results (X, -?+
