IBI [2-(4'-isothiocyanatobenzyl)imidazoline, 3] has been shown to cause slow-onset, long-lasting contractions of rat thoracic aorta through a non- α-adrenergic receptor (non-α-AR) mediated mechanism. A series of IBI- related analogs 7-14 and 16 was prepar
