, p. 4486 - 4489 (2019/06/24)
A visible-light-driven carboxylation of aryl and alkenyl triflates with CO2 is developed by using a combination of Pd and photoredox catalysts. This reaction proceeds under mild conditions and can be applied to a wide range of substrates including acyclic alkenyl triflates.
Novel Compounds as Autotaxin Inhibitors and Pharmaceutical Compositions Comprising the Same
-
Paragraph 0962-0963; 0976-0977, (2018/05/17)
The present invention relates to a novel autotaxin inhibitor compound for preventing and treating disease or symptoms due to an increase in concentration of lysophosphatidic acid or activation of autotaxin. The present invention further relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing the same. The novel compound of the present invention is an autotaxin inhibitor which inhibits production of lysophosphatidic acid, and thus is useful for treating or preventing cardiovascular disease, cancer, metabolic disease, kidney disease, liver disease, inflammatory diseases, nervous disease, respiratory disease, desmoid disease, eye disease, cholestatic symptoms, other types of chronic pruritus or acute, or chronic rejection of transplanted organs.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
B(C6F5)3-Catalyzed Cascade Reduction of Pyridines
Liu, Zhi-Yun,Wen, Zhi-Hui,Wang, Xiao-Chen
supporting information, p. 5817 - 5820 (2017/05/12)
B(C6F5)3 has been found to be an effective catalyst for reduction of pyridines and other electron-deficient N-heteroarenes with hydrosilanes (or hydroboranes) and amines as the reducing reagents. The success of this development hinges upon the realization of a cascade process of dearomative hydrosilylation (or hydroboration) and transfer hydrogenation. The broad functional-group tolerance (e.g. ketone, ester, unactivated olefins, nitro, nitrile, heterocycles, etc.) implies high practical utility.
