The completely alternating copolymerization of propylene sulfide with carbon disulfide was first achieved. Copolymerization by using anionic initiator [Ph3P=N=PPh3]Cl gave poly(propylene trithiocarbonate). The addition of chromium complex was found to accelerate the copolymerization.
