Uses
Used in Polyurethane Production:
2,2'-[oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyloxy)]bispropane is used as a crosslinking agent for the production of polyurethane foams and elastomers. It contributes to the formation of gas bubbles in the polyurethane matrix, which is crucial for creating the desired cellular structure and physical properties of the final product.
Used in Foam and Elastomer Manufacturing:
2,2'-[oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyloxy)]bispropane is used as a blowing agent in the manufacturing of polyurethane foams and elastomers. Its role in the formation of gas bubbles helps achieve the necessary cellular structure and physical properties required for these materials.
Used in Reactive Dilution:
2,2'-[oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyloxy)]bispropane is used as a reactive diluent, reducing the viscosity of polyol blends and facilitating the processing of polyurethane materials. This application enhances the ease of handling and production efficiency in various industries that utilize polyurethane products.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 81349-58-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,1,3,4 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 81349-58:
(7*8)+(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*4)+(3*9)+(2*5)+(1*8)=138
138 % 10 = 8
So 81349-58-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The sense of asymmetric ortholithiation directed by a chiral oxazoline may be inverted simply by the choice of achiral ligand. Comparison of results with a number of ferrocenyl oxazoline derivatives suggests that lithiation takes place by coordination to the oxazoline nitrogen irrespective of the ligand used.
