Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 90703-73-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,0,7,0 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 90703-73:
(7*9)+(6*0)+(5*7)+(4*0)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*3)=124
124 % 10 = 4
So 90703-73-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES OF 1,4,9-TRIAZASPIROUNDECANE AND 3,7,11-TRIAZASPIRODODECANE
Kuroyan, R. A.,Sarkisyan, V. V.,Vartanyan, S. A.
, p. 1354 - 1357 (2007/10/02)
Bromination of 1-methylpiperidine-4-carboxaldehyde gave 4-bromo-1-methylpiperidine-4-carboxaldehyde hydrobromide which was used to synthesize 1,4,9-triazaspiroundecane and 3,7,11-triazaspirododecane.Cyanoethylation and alkylation with various alkyl halides gave their mono- and di-substituted derivatives. The side chain nitrile group was reduced and the hydrazide was obtained from the ester analog.
