The invention discloses an azobenzene derivative, an azobenzene derivative-containing laser anti-counterfeiting device and preparation methods of the azobenzene derivative and the laser anti-counterfeiting device. The azobenzene derivative has a structure represented by the following formula, wherein R1 and R5 are independently selected from any one of three groups defined in the specification; R2, R3, R4 and R7 are independently selected from any one of H, F, Cl, Br and CH3; and n is selected from 1-10. The anti-counterfeiting device is obtained by forming a film through thermocuring and/or ultraviolet curing, forming a sandwich structure coating layer on the surface of a substrate and then photoetching anti-counterfeiting patterns on the coating layer through a photomask.
