927689-99-4 Usage
1H-Imidazole
A five-membered aromatic ring with a nitrogen atom at position 1, which is part of the imidazole group.
4-Chlorophenyl
A phenyl group (a six-membered aromatic ring) with a chlorine atom at position 4.
Phenyl
A six-membered aromatic ring without any substituents.
Pyrrolidinylmethyl
A pyrrolidine ring (a five-membered nitrogen-containing ring) with a methyl group (a carbon atom with three hydrogen atoms) attached to the nitrogen atom.
Potential drug molecule
1H-Imidazole, 1-[(4-chlorophenyl)phenyl[4-(1-pyrrolidinylmethyl)phenyl]methyl]- has pharmaceutical importance due to its structural relation to imidazole-based compounds with antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties.
Structural modifications
The compound's structure can be modified by substituting the imidazole ring with various phenyl and pyrrolidinylmethyl groups, which may lead to changes in its pharmacological and biological activities.
Further research needed
More studies are required to fully understand the potential uses and effects of 1H-Imidazole, 1-[(4-chlorophenyl)phenyl[4-(1-pyrrolidinylmethyl)phenyl]methyl]-.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 927689-99-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 9,2,7,6,8 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 927689-99:
(8*9)+(7*2)+(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*8)+(3*9)+(2*9)+(1*9)=244
244 % 10 = 4
So 927689-99-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Antimalarial agents having a novel pharmacophore of formula (I) are herein described. These polycyclic compounds are able to inhibit chloroquine-sensitive and chloroquine-resistant strains ofPlasmodium falciparum (Pf). Furthermore, the synthesis of these compounds involves few steps from commercial products with low cost of production.Λa présente invention concerne des agents antimalariaux comportant un nouveau pharmacophore de formule (I).
