Uses
1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one (CAS NO.2634-33-5) is used as a preservative in emulsion paints, varnishes, adhesives, washing agents, fuels and in the papermaking process. In paints, it is commonly used as a mixture with methylisothiazolinone.
