The paste was subsequently homogenized 10-15 min at 45° with 23.4 parts I and 28 parts suspension PVC. The final paste had long shelf life. The force necessary to open glass jars equipped with screw caps contg. gaskets from the above PVC paste (the applied closing force was 3.35 Nm) was 3.33-3.82 Nm after 1-h heating in distd. water contg. 30 g NaCl/L.
