Thus, adding 32 g SO3 in CH2Cl2 to 52.4 g Ac-b-Ala-OH and 40.4 g Et3N in CH2Cl2 at <10° and then stirring at room temp. for 10 min gave Ac-b-Ala-OSO3H.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 56353-15-2 and 78137-74-3 Et3N in CH2Cl2, which was treated with 31 g histidine in aq. NaOH to give 38 g Ac-b-Ala-His-OH. .

NAcCAR was isolated by solid-phase extn. on Isolute PRS (propylsulfonyl) columns. The HPLC mean retention time for NAcCAR was 5.9±0.2 min. 56353-15-2 which is the cas registry number is also used here. The recovery from plasma by solid-phase extn. was 93.9-99.7 and lower limit of detection in plasma was 0.18 mM. The normal NAcCAR concn. in equine plasma was 2.4±0.3 mM. The method was applied to the detn. of plasma concns. following oral and i.v. NAcCAR administration. .
