Uses of 1,1-Dimethoxy-N,N-dimethylethylamine: (1) it is used as a drug to plunge entered intermediates; (2) it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it can react with (E)-4-Trimethylsilylbut-3-en-2-ol to get (E)-N,N-Dimethyl-3-trimethylsilylhex-4-enamid. The reaction occurs with solvent benzene and other condition of heating. The yield is 90 %.

1,1-Dimethoxy-N,N-dimethylethylamine can react with (E)-4-Trimethylsilylbut-3-en-2-ol to get (E)-N,N-Dimethyl-3-trimethylsilylhex-4-enamid.
