Preparation: this chemical is prepared by reaction of 3-Prop-2-ynylsulfanyl-2H-[1, 2, 4]triazin-5-one with 6-Methylene-6, 7-dihydro-4H-thiazolo[2, 3-γ][1, 2, 4]-triazin-4-one at heating. The reaction needs catalyst PdCl2(PhCN)2 and solvent Acetonitrile. The reaction time is 6 hours. The yield is about 56 %.

Uses: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce 2H-[1, 2, 4]Triazine-3, 5-dithione at irradiation. This reaction needs reagent P2S5/SiO2. Other condition of this reaction is reaction time of 15 minutes. The yield is about 60 %.
