Uses of 2-Chloroethyl methyl ether: it can react with piperazine to get 1-(2-methoxy-ethyl)-piperazine. This reaction will need reagent NaHCO3 and solvent H2O. The yield is about 70% at reaction temperature of 55-60 °C.

2-Chloroethyl methyl mther can react with piperazine to get 1-(2-methoxy-ethyl)-piperazine.
