Uses of 4-Chloro-2,6-Dimethylaniline: it can be used to produce 5-chloro-2-iodo-1,3-dimethyl-benzene at temperature of 0 °C. This reaction will need reagent aq. NaNO₂ and aq. KI. The yield is about 50%.
