- Drying granulation method of potassium sorbate granules
-
The invention discloses a dry granulation method for potassium sorbate granules in the field of compound granulation, comprising raw material preparation, raw material heating, raw material cooling, granulation agglomeration, extrusion granulation, surface drying and particle polishing process. The method above comprises the following steps: S1: raw material preparation: sorbic acid, potassium carbonate and ethanol are put into the reaction kettle to form potassium sorbate solution for standby use; S2: raw material is heated: S3:raw material is cooled ; S4: granule agglomeration: S5: extrusion granulation: the raw materials are put into the extrusion granulator to form particles; S6: surface drying: S7: particle polishing: through the drying method, the invention will dry the water inside the potassium sorbate granule , which can well control the internal moisture content. The prepared potassium sorbate granule is with good crystal model,in stable structure and free from the agglomeration .The production process is simple and suitable for large-scale use of the plant.

- Method using ceramic membrane reactor to prepare potassium sorbate
-
The invention belongs to the field of potassium sorbate production and particularly relates to a method using a ceramic membrane reactor to prepare potassium sorbate. The method includes the steps of firstly, injecting 30-80% sorbic acid aqueous solution into the reactor with a ceramic membrane, heating the reactor to 100 DEG C, and keeping in bath; secondly, adding 60-90% potassium hydroxide aqueous solution, wherein the volume ratio of the sorbic acid aqueous solution to the potassium hydroxide aqueous solution is 1:2-4; thirdly, placing the reactor on a shaker to allow the sorbic acid to react with the potassium hydroxide for 15-30 minutes at 40-55 DEG C under the condition that the rotation speed is 80-150rpm; fourthly, after the reaction, cooling the reaction liquid to room temperature, and filter pressing, crystalizing, drying, pelleting and drying again to obtain potassium sorbate particles. The method has the advantages that potassium sorbate prepared by the method is pure white in appearance, good in stability and high in raw material utilization rate, the purity of the potassium sorbate reaches more than 99.8%, and the yield of the potassium sorbate is above 88.5%.

- Process for producing sorbic acid or salts thereof
-
A process produces sorbic acid or its salt and includes the step of retaining a slurry or solution containing sorbic acid or its salt while holding an oxygen concentration of a gaseous phase at 4% by volume or less, the gaseous phase being in contact with the slurry or solution containing sorbic acid or its salt. In the process, the oxygen concentration of the gaseous phase may be held at 4% by volume or less while introducing an inert gas into a gaseous phase of a reservoir holding the slurry or solution and/or of a conduit adjacent to the reservoir. Such an inert gases includes, for example, nitrogen gas. The oxygen concentration of the gaseous phase is preferably held at 1% by volume or less. The process can prevent the formation of new color-inducing substances in a purification operation of sorbic acid or its salt, and the obtained sorbic acid or its salt has a minimized degree of coloring and a minimized deterioration of hue over time.
