The method comprises the process flows of weighing benzoic acid and triethylene glycol in proportion to perform esterification on toluenesulfonic acid in a glass bottle; then drawing the mixture into a neutralization device, adding a NaOH aqueous solution to perform neutralization, washing with water and decolorizing after demixing, separating through an oil-water separator, drying, filtering and checking to obtain a finished product. The method disclosed by the invention is used for producing 360g of high-quality plasticizer or TEDB in a glass bottle of which the volume is 500ml by taking toluenesulfonic acid as a catalyst.

In particular, the plasticizer composition for polyvinyl chloride resin includes the novel compound, 2-(2-(2-(2-ethylhexanoyloxy)ethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl 2-ethylhexanoate, and 2-(2-(2-phenylcarbonyloxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl benzoate in a proper mixture ratio. A polyvinyl chloride prepared using the plasticizer composition has low heating loss, excellent adhesion, high plasticization efficiency, high elongation, high tensile strength, and high transparency.
