Zhejiang Medicine Co.,Ltd., established on May 16, 1997, is a large joint-stock pharmaceutical company formed by the new approach which is combined by the original Zhejiang Xinchang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Xianju Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Medicine Co., Ltd. and other enterprises. The company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on August 1999 October. At present, the company has registered capital of 450.06 million yuan, total assets of 2.5 billion, one of large 18 groups which are focused on cultivating by the Zhejiang provincial government. The company also has National Enterprise Technology Center, Post-doctoral Mobile Station, several companies and subsidiaries such as Xinchang Pharmaceutical Factory, vitamin factory, commercial companies.

At present, Zhejiang Medicine is specialized in manufacturing of fat-soluble vitamins, retinoids, quinolone antibiotics, anti-drug-resistant antibiotics. Production and sales of Vitamin H (58-85-5) is the first in the world. Production and sales of Coenzyme Q10 (303-98-0), synthetic vitamin E is the third in the world. All products passed national GMP certification, commercial branch was certified by the National GSP. Benflumetol (82186-77-4) was certified by the Australian TGA in 2005. Vancomycin hydrochloride (1404-93-9) passed on-site audit by the U.S. FDA in September 2007. In 2001, the company passed the ISO140001 Environmental Certification.
