Disilane Specification

The Disilane is an organic compound with the formula H6Si2. The systematic name of this chemical is Disilane. With the CAS registry number 1590-87-0, it is also named as Disilicon Hexahydride. The product's categories are Chemical Synthesis; Compressed and Liquefied GasesVapor Deposition Precursors; Gases; Precursors by Metal; Synthetic Reagents. Besides, it is colourless gas with a foul odour. It is the only two silicon silane that is an aliphatic hydrosilicon. And it can be used for solar cells, photosensitive drum, amorphous silicon film, semiconductor. Using silane feed gas to get the mixed gas at appropriate temperature, frequency and voltage, the flow into the discharge tube, then absorb the mixed gas under different cooling conditions and remove impurities, then get high-purity Disilane. Disilane also can be prepared by Silane with glow discharge polymerization, then cool down it with liquid nitrogen.

Physical properties about Disilane are: (1)#Freely Rotating Bonds: 1; (2)Enthalpy of Vaporization: 21.2 kJ/mol; (3)Vapour Pressure: 2940 mmHg at 25 °C.

Besides, this chemical is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.
