The Disilane is an organic compound with the formula H₆Si₂. The systematic name of this chemical is Disilane. With the CAS registry number 1590-87-0, it is also named as Disilicon Hexahydride. Besides, it is colourless gas with a foul odour. It is the only two silicon silane that is an aliphatic hydrosilicon. Disilane also can be prepared by Silane with glow discharge polymerization, then cool down it with liquid nitrogen.
