Photolysis of the 8-oxa-3,4-diazatricyclo<5.1.0.0^2,6>oct-4-enes (7) results in a ring transformation to give the 6-formyl-2,3-diazabicyclo<3.1.0>hex-3-enes (9), whereas the 8-aza compounds (8) give the 2-amino-3-cyano-5-azabicyclo<2.1.0>pentane
