The rate constants for the reactions of F-, CF3-, C2F5-, C3F7-, and C4F9- with C2F4 and C3F6 have been measured in the gas phase at 295 K in a selected ion flow tube (SIFT).Most of the observed reactions involve association.F- transfer is observed only from CF3-.All ions studied except C4F9- react with C3F6 with near unit efficiency.Only F- and CF3- were observed to react with C2F4.
