Photochemical reaction of an orthometalated manganesecarbonyl derivative, with PhC<*>CPh in benzene yielded and its structure was studied by 13C and 31P NMR spectroscopy based on 13C and 31P NMR data for relevant orthometalated metal carbonyl derivatives including which was first synthesized in this study.
