The reaction of lithium derivatives of oximes, N,N - dimethylhydrazones and 1,3 dithianes with 2H-azirines affords respectively (amino -1′- alkyl)-5 4H,5H-isoxazoles, 2H-pyrroles and in the last case primary allylic amines or C - fonctionalized aziridines. A general mechanism of these reactions is discussed.
