Novel 1-amino-2-aryldiphosphenes carrying 2,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl or 2,4,6-tris(trifluoromethyl)phenyl group as an aryl substituent were prepared and the push-pull substituent effect on -P=P- was demonstrated by 31P NMR.
