General procedure for the palladium-catalyzed reactions
To a stirred solution of 1 (1 mmol) in DMF (10 ml) were
sequentially added Et3N (0.167 ml), PPh3 (52 mg, 0.2 mmol),
and Pd(OAc)2 (22.5 mg, 0.1 mmol) at room temperature under
an argon atmosphere. The reaction mixture was stirred and
heated at 100 ЊC for 6–8 h and then cooled to room temper-
ature, diluted with EtOAc (50 ml), washed with water (3 × 15
ml), dried (Na2SO4), filtered and concentrated under reduced
pressure. The residue was separated by chromatography on a
silica gel column with gradients of EtOAc and hexane to give
the products shown in Table 1.
