The photochemical reaction of 4-methylamino-3-penten-2-one with benzophenone gave N-(2,2-diphenyl-2-hydroxyethyl)-4-amino-3-penten-2-one.The reaction of 2,4-pentanedione gave oxetane, resulting from the cycloaddition of benzophenone to the double bond of the enol form.
