N,N-Bis(chloromethyl)carboxamides 1 undergo ring closure reactions with N,N'-dimethylhydrazine (2) to give 1,2,4-triazolidine derivatives of type 3.With 2-aminobenzothiazole (4), derivatives of the benzothiazolo-1,3,5-triazine 6 are formed.
