The first organoactinide complex involving a phosphido ligand, Cp3UPPh2(Cp=η⁵-C5H5, Ph=C6H5), has been prepared by several routes, the best of which involves the reaction of equimolar quantities of Cp2U(NEt2)2 and HPPh2.The complex Cp3UPPh2 is
