Conclusions
(
In summary, we reported a carbohydrate-based aminocatalytic
methodforC–Cbondformationinwater, whichcanbeemployed
to build the bisindolylalkane and β-amino carbonyl framework
at room temperature in water. The activation is effective for
aliphatic, aromatic, and heteroaromatic aldehydes. The results
reveal the great potential that glycose-derivative catalysts could
play to promote C–C bond formation in a green way.
