The formerly unknown Si-dodecamethyl-cyclo-hexasila-3,6,9-triazane (-Sime2Sime2NH-)3 (4) was detected in low yield (3-5percent) among the reaction products of dichlortetramethyldisilane and ammonia.The already known main product (50percent) Si-octamethyl-cyclo-tetrasila-3,6-diazane (-Sime2Sime2NH-)2 (3) reacted after metallation with chloromethylsilanes menSiCl4-n (n = 0 - 3) to give the N,N'-disubstituted cyclotetrasiladiazanes 11-14, from which 12 was transformed with ammonia to the corresponding N,N'-bis(aminodimethylsilyl) derivative 15, and 13 with metallated methylamine to the corresponding N,N'-bis
