Uses
Used as cortical hormone, it has local anti-inflammatory effect and contraction of blood vessels. Applied to eczema, all kinds of dermatitis, psoriasis, pruritus, insect bites, flat red planus, chronic nummular erythema and so on.
Production
By the reaction of butyric acid hydrocortisone and propanoic anhydride, hydrocortisone butyrate propionate can be obtained.
