Uses of Phosphonium, triphenyl[3-(trimethylsilyl)-2-propyn-1-yl]-, bromide (1:1): it can be used to produce trans-6-phenyl-1-trimethylsilylhex-3-en-1-yne. This reaction will need reagent N-butyl-lithium and solvent tetrahydrofuran with reaction time of 0.75 hours. The yield is about 68%.
