Sodium stibagluconate Uses

Antimony sodium gluconate (CAS NO.16037-91-5) is used as anti-leishmaniasis drugs.

Sodium stibagluconate Production

Calcium gluconate substitution reaction with sodium Carbonate to generate Sodium gluconate and then use the Antimony trichloride for Antimony trichloride reaction to get Trivalent sodium antimony gluconate, and finally Oxidation by hydrogen peroxide, obtaining Antimony sodium gluconate (CAS NO.16037-91-5) .
