Fenpiclonil (CAS NO.74738-17-3) is used as Pyrrolecarbonitrile type protective fungicides. It is used for seed treatment with cereals species for pathogen transmission .It also has a good control effect on non-cereal crops of seed-borne and soil-borne pathogens .
Raw materials: Trifluoroacetic acid-->Potassium Acetate-->Pyrrole-->(FORMYLMETHYLENE)TRIPHENYLPHOSPHORANE-->2,3-Dichlorobenzaldehyde-->Methoxyethene
2,3 - 2-Chlorobenzaldehyde and 2 Ether triphenyl phosphate for reaction of (Z) and (E) -2,3 - Dichloro-phenyl vinyl ether. Then acylation with Trifluoroacetic acid , acylation product cyclization with Amino Potassium acetate , obtaining N-acyl-fluoro -4 - (2,3 - dichloro-phenyl) pyrrole -3 - trifluoromethyl, cyclization products with lithium aluminum hydride to remove acyl,producing 4 - (2,3 - Dichloro-phenyl) pyrrole -3 - trifluoromethyl. Finally, With the role of Ammonia ,getting Fenpiclonil (CAS NO.74738-17-3) .
