Dill seed oil european (CAS NO.8006-75-5) is allowed the use of food with the spices by GB 2760—96. It is mainly used in bread, pickles, sauces and seasonings, etc.
It must harvest the fruit before fully mature in order to avoid cracking the loss. After drying to remove grease, and then ground into powder.
Due to the different sources of raw materials, it is divided into three kinds of merchandise. One is the European-type dill seed oil, from the dried fruit or seeds of Anethum graveolens, and mashed derived by steam distillation, yield 2.5% to 4%; the second is the Indian-type dill seed oil, from Anethum 5D gamma unripe fruit derived by steam distillation; third is the American-type dill seed oil, from picking Anethum graveolens stems, leaves and seeds derived by steam distillation.

Dill seed oil european (CAS NO.8006-75-5) has a certain anti-mildew properties. It is soluble in most non-volatile oil, mineral oil and ethanol, dissolved in propylene glycol with slightly milky white, insoluble in water and glycerin.
