Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 133511-55-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,3,5,1 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 133511-55:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*3)+(5*5)+(4*1)+(3*1)+(2*5)+(1*5)=94
94 % 10 = 4
So 133511-55-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

An efficient one-pot protocol for the synthesis of phenyl substituted 3-silatetrahydropyrans

Kirpichenko, Svetlana V.,Shainyan, Bagrat A.

, p. 599 - 604 (2015)

A new facile and efficient one-pot procedure for the synthesis of 3-phenyl-3-silatetrahydropyrans with an easily functionalized Si-Ph bond was developed. The method is based on the intramolecular cyclization of chloromethyl(3-hydroxypropyl)phenylsilanes using the n-Bu4NBr/i-Pr2NEt combination. As an example of functionalization, the synthesis of the first 3-silatetrahydropyran with an exocyclic RO-Si bond is reported.

Synthesis and conformational analysis of 1,3-azasilinanes

Shainyan, Bagrat A.,Kirpichenko, Svetlana V.,Kleinpeter, Erich

experimental part, p. 7494 - 7501 (2012/09/21)

1-Isopropyl-3-methyl-3-phenyl-1,3-azasilinane 1 and 1-isopropyl-3,3- dimethyl-1,3-azasilinane 2 were synthesized and a detailed analysis of their NMR spectra, conformational equilibria and ring inversion processes is presented. Low temperature 1/sup

Rearrangements of α-Halosilanes Induced by Intramolecular Nucleophilic Attack at Silicon

Hudrlik, Paul F.,Abdallah, Yousef M.,Hudrlik, Anne M.

, p. 6743 - 6746 (2007/10/02)

Migrations of organic groups from silicon to carbon are facilitated by intramolecular attack by alkoxide at silicon.
