Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 13506-93-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,3,5,0 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 13506-93:
(7*1)+(6*3)+(5*5)+(4*0)+(3*6)+(2*9)+(1*3)=89
89 % 10 = 9
So 13506-93-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A Selective Synthesis of (E)-Vinylsilanes by Cationic Rhodium Complex-Catalyzed Hydrosilylation of 1-Alkynes and Tandem Hydrosilylation/Isomerization Reaction of Propargylic Alcohols to β-Silyl Ketones

Takeuchi, Ryo,Nitta, Shuichi,Watanabe, Dai

, p. 3045 - 3051 (1995)

(E)-Vinylsilanes were obtained with high selectivities by BF4/2PPh3-catalyzed hydrosilylation of 1-alkynes with triethylsilane.A wide range of 1-alkynes were used. The hydrosilylation of propargylic alcohols with triethylsilane gave (E)-γ-silyl a

One-pot catalytic C-C double bond cleavage of α,β-enones aided by alkyl group-immobilized silica spheres

Lee, Dong Hun,Jo, Eun-Ae,Park, Jung-Woo,Jun, Chul-Ho

experimental part, p. 160 - 163 (2010/03/04)

Catalytic C-C double bond cleavage of α,β-enones with a 1-alkene and H2O was carried out in the presence of a (Ph3P)3RhCl catalyst, 2-amino-3-picoline, cyclohexylamine, benzoic acid, and alkyl group-immobilized silica spheres. Upon completion of the reaction, the corresponding ketones were obtained without needing a further hydrolysis step. In this reaction, alkyl group-immobilized silica spheres act as a water reservoir for hydrolysis of an intermediate ketimine and as a phase divider between the organic solution and H2O.

The photochemical addition of aldehydes to vinylsilanes

Komarov,Roman,Komarova

, p. 1405 - 1407 (2007/10/12)

The photochemical reaction of aldehydes of various structures with vinyl and allylsilanes have been investigated. A number of features of this reaction has been established and a convenient method for the synthesis of γ-silicon-containing ketones, includi
