Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 135219-63-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,5,2,1 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 135219-63:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*5)+(5*2)+(4*1)+(3*9)+(2*6)+(1*3)=115
115 % 10 = 5
So 135219-63-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Application of acyl cyanophosphorane methodology to the synthesis of protease inhibitors: Poststatin, eurystatin, phebestin, probestin and bestatin

Wasserman, Harry H.,Petersen, Anders K.,Xia, Mingde

, p. 6771 - 6784 (2007/10/03)

Full details are given for the syntheses of the protease inhibitors, poststatin and eurystatin by the acyl cyanophosphorane coupling procedure used for the formation of α-keto amides. We have also extended this methodology to the syntheses of the related α-hydroxy amide natural products, phebestin, probestin and bestatin. The key step in the latter synthetic sequences involved diastereomeric selectivity in the reduction of the α-keto precursor to the corresponding α-hydroxy amide by the use of zinc borohydride.

Study on surfactin, a cyclic depsipeptide. II. Synthesis of surfactin B2 produced by Bacillus natto KMD 2311

Nagai, Sotoo,Okimura, Keiko,Kaizawa, Naohito,Ohki, Kazuhiro,Kanatomo, Shoichi

, p. 5 - 10 (2007/10/03)

The total synthesis of surfactin B2, a cyclic depsipeptide isolated from Bacillus natto KMD 2311, was achieved to elucidate the absolute configuration of its fatty acid moiety. This is the first chemical confirmation of the absolute configurati

Poststatin and related compounds or salts thereof

-

, (2008/06/13)

A novel, biologically active substance, poststatin, has been isolated from a culture medium of microorganism belonging to Streptomyces. The novel substance is a peptide compound having a novel structure, wherein the peptide chains have ketone radicals. Th
