Kinetic selection of polymeric guanosine architectures from dynamic supramolecular libraries
Meffre, Anca,Petit, Eddy,Cot, Didier,Barboiu, Mihail
, p. 960 - 965 (2015)
We report an original strategy to transcribe and to fix supramolecular guanosine architectures in self-organized polymers. In the first resolution step, the G-quartet and G-quadruplex architectures are pre-amplified in solution in the presence of K+
COMPOUNDS FOR TREATING BACTERIAL INFECTIONS
-
Page/Page column 48, (2011/04/25)
The present invention relates to a novel class of guanine nucleotide analogs which inhibit RelA and Relseq synthetic activity and which possess anti-bacterial activity. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions that include such compounds, and to methods of use of such compounds or compositions for combating bacteria and treating bacterial infections.
Supramolecular self-organization in constitutional hybrid materials
Mihai, Simona,Cazacu, Adinela,Arnal-Herault, Carole,Nasr, Gihane,Meffre, Anca,Van Der Lee, Arie,Barboiu, Mihail
experimental part, p. 2335 - 2343 (2011/04/23)
We present in this paper a new strategy to transcribe the supramolecular dynamic self-organization of the G-quadruplex and ureidocrown ether ion channel-type columnar architectures in constitutional hybrids. In particular, the use of a "dynamic reversible
Unexpected reactivity of N2-benzylidene guanosine derivatives
Mons, Stephane,Lebeau, Luc,Mioskowski, Charles
, p. 9183 - 9186 (2007/10/03)
Guanosine derivatives masked at the sugar are protected at N2 by a benzylideneamine group for the first time. The free 5'-hydroxyl function reveals to be incompatible with the N2-protective group that is then rapidly hydrolyzed to regenerate the free exocyclic amine.
Synthesis of a functionalized GDP-analogue designed for anti-GDP antibody production
Vincent, Stephane,Mioskowski, Charles,Lebeau, Luc
, p. 2321 - 2324 (2007/10/03)
An enzymatically stable analogue of GDP is prepared in 7 steps starting from guanosine. The guanine moiety is functionalized at the N-1 position so as to allow anchoring of the nucleotide onto a carrier protein for subsequent immunization of animals in order to raise antibodies against GDP.
