Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
Docetaxel Hydroxy-tert-butyl-carbamate is used as an antineoplastic agent for its antimitotic properties. It is particularly effective in the treatment of various types of cancer due to its ability to stabilize microtubules, thereby inhibiting cell division and preventing tumor growth.
Used in Cancer Treatment:
Docetaxel Hydroxy-tert-butyl-carbamate is used as a therapeutic agent for cancer patients. Its role in promoting microtubule assembly and inhibiting their depolymerization makes it a valuable component in the fight against cancer, as it can help control tumor growth and potentially lead to tumor regression.
Used in Research and Development:
In the field of medical research, Docetaxel Hydroxy-tert-butyl-carbamate serves as a crucial compound for studying the mechanisms of microtubule dynamics and their role in cell division. This knowledge can be applied to develop new therapeutic strategies and improve existing cancer treatments.
Used in Drug Delivery Systems:
Similar to gallotannin, Docetaxel Hydroxy-tert-butyl-carbamate can be incorporated into novel drug delivery systems to enhance its bioavailability, delivery, and therapeutic outcomes. These systems may include organic and metallic nanoparticles as carriers, aiming to improve the compound's effectiveness in cancer treatment.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 154044-57-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,4,0,4 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 154044-57:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*4)+(5*0)+(4*4)+(3*4)+(2*5)+(1*7)=112
112 % 10 = 2
So 154044-57-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Partial synthesis of major human metabolites of docetaxel
Commercon, Alain,Bourzat, Jean-Dominique,Bezard, Daniel,Vuilhorgne, Marc
, p. 10289 - 10298 (2007/10/02)
The structures and synthesis of the four major human metabolites of docetaxel are reported. These metabolites, i.e. compounds 3, 4a,b and 5, are side-chain oxidation derivatives. They were prepared by partial synthesis from the previously described amino-taxoid 8 using mixed-carbonates as acylation reagents. In vitro biological activities are detailed.
