The method uses aziridine and carbon dioxide as materials and imidazole ionic liquid modified Salen metal complex comprising polyether chains as a catalyst, and allows high-efficiency and high-selectivity catalytic synthesis of oxazolidone under a pressure of 0.1-2.0 Mpa at a temperature of 30-70 DEG C; the process has relatively mild reaction conditions, there is no need for any solvent or co-catalyst, and reaction time is short; in addition, the catalyst provided herein can form a homogeneous catalytic system with a substrate under certain temperature and pressure, and by adding the solvent, it is possible to separate from the reaction system to enable reuse.
