Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 18142-59-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,8,1,4 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 18142-59:
(7*1)+(6*8)+(5*1)+(4*4)+(3*2)+(2*5)+(1*9)=101
101 % 10 = 1
So 18142-59-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

PALLADIUM COMPLEXES IN THE HYDROSILYLATION OF ACETYLENE

Kopylova, L. I.,Pukhnarevich, V. B.,Voronkov, M. G.

, p. 276 - 278 (2007/10/02)

The catalytic activities of triphenylphosphine-, trialkylphosphine-, and acetylacetone-palladium complexes in the hydrosilylation of acetylene with trichloro-, alkyldichloro-, triethyl, and triethoxy-silanes were investigated. The yields of the corresponding (triorganylsilyl)ethylenes and 1,2-bis(triorganylsilyl)ethanes (conditions: 70-80 deg C, solvent xylene) depend on the nature of the ligands on the palladium atom and the character of the substituents on the silicon atom in the hydride silane.

UNUSUAL REGIOSELECTIVE HYDROSILYLATION OF ETHYNYLMETHYLDICHLOROSILANE WITH DIMETHYILCHLOROSILANE CATALYZED BY TETRAKIS(TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINE)PLATINUM(O)

Matsumoto, Hideyuki,Hoshino, Yoshikazu,Nagai, Yoichiro

, p. 1663 - 1666 (2007/10/02)

The hydrosilylation of ethynylmethyldichlorosilane with dimethylchlorosilane catalyzed by tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)platinum(O) was found to show quite an unusual regioselectivity to afford the geminal product, 1-(methyldichlorosilyl)-1-(dimethylchlorosilyl)ethene, almost exclusively.

ADDITION OF CHLORODISILANES TO ACETYLENE CATALYZED BY TETRAKIS(TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINE)PALLADIUM(0). A FACILE ROUTE TO (Z)-1,2-BIS(CHLOROSILYL)ETHENES

Matsumoto, Hideyuki,Matsubara, Ikuya,Kato, Takayuki,Shono, Koichi,Watanabe, Hamao,Nagai, Yoichiro

, p. 43 - 48 (2007/10/02)

In the presence of a catalytic amount of tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0), chlorodisilanes of type MenSi2Cl6-n (n=2-5) add to acetylene to afford 1,2-bis(chlorosilyl)ethenes in reasonable yields.
