Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 19579-04-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,9,5,7 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 19579-04:
(7*1)+(6*9)+(5*5)+(4*7)+(3*9)+(2*0)+(1*4)=145
145 % 10 = 5
So 19579-04-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

LJ reaction the palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of

-

Paragraph 0037, (2017/02/24)

The present invention relates to an application of an LJ intramolecular isomerization reaction in a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction. According to the present invention, phosphorus pentahalide is adopted to replace a palladium metal catalyst, such that the yield of the existing most palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions is improved, the cost is reduced, and the palladium catalyst can basically not be used in the new cross-coupling reaction generating the C-C bond in the future to achieve the same excellent effect. The LJ reaction of the present invention is especially suitable for the industrial technology for achieving the cross-coupling reaction.

Nature of Phenoxides of Phosphorus(V)

Malhotra, K. C.,Sharma, Neeraj

, p. 343 - 345 (2007/10/02)

Compounds of composition P(OC6H5)nCl5-n (n=1->5) have been prepared by the reaction of phosphorus(V) chloride and phenol in appropriate molar ratio in carbon tetrachloride under different experimental conditions.Molecular weight and ir spectral studies show them to be monomers.Double phenoxides of composition M', (M=P; M'=Li, Na or K) have also been prepared by reacting alkali metal phenoxides and phosphorus pentaphenoxide in 1:1 molar ratio which is supported by conductometric titrations in phenol.Reactions with acetyl chloride and hydrogen chloride to get back the original phosphorus chlorides have also been attempted.
