Pentafluorophenyl(fluoro)silanes (C6F5)nSiF4-n (n = 1, 2) were prepared from the corresponding ethoxysilanes by sequential chlorodeethoxylation with SOCl2 and fluoridation of chlorosilanes with SbF3.
