A Ga4N8 cage structure formed by reaction of trimethylgallium with phenylhydrazine
Peters, David W.,Power, Maurice P.,Bourret, Edith D.,Arnold, John
, p. 753 - 754 (1998)
Methane elimination during thermolysis of GaMe3 with PhHNNH2 yields sequentially dimeric [Me2Ga{μ-N(H)N(H)Ph}]2, tetrameric [MeGa(μ-N(H)NPh}]4 and, ultimately, GaN; the X-ray structure of the tetramer shows a novel Ga4N8 cage.
Phenylhydrazine compounds of aluminum and gallium - From adducts to cyclic hydrazides and cages
Uhl, Werner,Abel, Thomas,Koesters, Jutta,Rezaeirad, Babak
, p. 1014 - 1022 (2009)
The reactions of trialkyl-element compounds (E = Al, Ga) with hydrazines usually proceed by the intermediate formation of the simple adducts R 3E←NH2-N(H)-R'. However, only one ad-duct (1; R = iPr, E = Ga) could be isolated and chara
