Usage

General Description

Methylenebis(thioacetic acid) is a chemical compound also known as bis(thioacetic acid) methane. It's highly used in industrial applications. METHYLENEBIS(THIOACETIC ACID) has two thioacetic acid groups attached to a central carbon atom, forming a structure CH2(SC(O)CH3)2. The molecule is polar due to the polarity of the thioacetic acid groups which can form hydrogen bonds, making it soluble in polar solvents.
