General Description

The chemical (1S,2S,5R)-3-Boc-2-[(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)methyl]-4-oxo-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane is a derivative of the bicyclic compound 3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane. It contains a Boc (tert-butoxycarbonyl) protecting group, as well as a tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy (TBDMS) protecting group on a hydroxyl group. These protecting groups serve to temporarily block the reactivity of certain functional groups during chemical reactions. (1S,2S,5R)-3-Boc-2-[(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)methyl]-4-oxo-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, particularly in the preparation of complex molecules with multiple stereocenters.
