Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 299931-13-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,9,9,9,3 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 299931-13:
(8*2)+(7*9)+(6*9)+(5*9)+(4*3)+(3*1)+(2*1)+(1*3)=198
198 % 10 = 8
So 299931-13-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Design and synthesis of biotin-tagged photoaffinity probes of jasmonates

Gu, Min,Yan, Jianbin,Bai, Zhiyan,Chen, Yue-Ting,Lu, Wei,Tang, Jie,Duan, Liusheng,Xie, Daoxin,Nan, Fa-Jun

scheme or table, p. 3012 - 3019 (2010/07/08)

Jasmonates (JAs) are a class of oxylipin compounds that play diverse roles in plant defense and development. The F-box protein coronatine insensitive1 (COI1) plays a crucial role in the JA signaling pathway. To determine whether COI1 binds directly to jasmonates, three biotin-tagged photoaffinity probes for JAs, a jasmonic acid photoaffinity probe (PAJA), a JAIle photoaffinity probe (PAJAIle), and a coronatine photoaffinity probe (PACOR), were designed and synthesized based on analysis of JA structure-activity relationships and molecular modeling of the interaction between COI1 and JAs. Among them, PACOR exhibited the most significant biological activity in inhibiting root growth, promoting accumulation of JA-responsive proteins, and triggering COI1-JAZ1 interaction in Arabidopsis seedlings. PACOR is an effective tool for elucidating the interaction between COI1 and JA.

Activity-based probe for specific photoaffinity labeling γ-aminobutyric acid B (GABAB) receptors on living cells: Design, synthesis, and biological evaluation

Li, Xin,Cao, Jian-Hua,Li, Ying,Rondard, Philippe,Zhang, Yang,Yi, Ping,Liu, Jian-Feng,Nan, Fa-Jun

supporting information; experimental part, p. 3057 - 3060 (2009/04/05)

A trimodular activity-based probe was designed, synthesized, characterized, and applied to photoaffinity label the GABAB receptors transiently expressed in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. The probe exhibits specific binding activity at the ligand-binding pocket of GB1 subunits and high specificity of photoaffinity labeling, which makes the probe valuable for studying the localization and function of GABAB receptors on living cells.

Page/Page column 12-13, (2010/02/11)

This invention offers a photoreactive labeling reagent consisting of a novel biotinylated phenyldiazirine compound; a photoaffinity labeling reagent consisting of a saccharide-linked biotinylated phenyldiazirine compound where a saccharide compound is int

Synthesis of biotinylated bis(D-glucose) derivatives for glucose transporter photoaffinity labelling

Hashimoto, Makoto,Hatanaka, Yasumaru,Yang, Jing,Dhesi, Jaswant,Holman, Geoffrey D.

, p. 119 - 127 (2007/10/03)

New diazirine based bis-glucose derivatives for tagging glucose transporters have been synthesised. These included two biotinylated compounds linked either by an aminocaproate or by a cleavable dithiol link. These compounds have been derivatised via a key
